More about Girls & Football SA
Girls & Football SA has changed the face of women's football in South Africa. Prior to our founding, there were no organizations focusing on the development of girls and young women through sport, media and education. Its our unique approach that allows girls to have access to important health information they need to make empowered choices.
We don't only do this through our football-based life skills workshops, but also through our mobile health app: mGirls. We truly believe that sport has the power to change more lives when effectively combined with strategic communication channels: and, that's exactly why we launched our mobile health app. The app sends fitness and sport based health information to girls on a daily basis - putting the power of sport in the hands of 63,000 girls.
We are positioned to grow our mobile health app and depend on funding from strategic partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for Beyond Sport to align with a forward-thinking, award-winning organization changing the pace for women's sport.
