The purpose of Go Girl is to emphasize sports within young girls so that they develop a liking towards sports at an early age. Pakistan severely lacks entertainment for girls and in our society women are raised to be better mothers and wives not athletes. Most young girls are married off. Sports is perceived to be for boys and not girls. Pakistan is not producing quality female athletes, girls who have potential are discouraged or let down by lack of funds and training schools. These girls don’t have mentors.
