The Portland Timbers work in the community is branded as “Stand Together,” and has a mission to harness the power of sport to improve the lives of children and families in our region through targeted programs, deep partnerships, and philanthropic giving. Our focus areas include youth sport, activity, education, and the environment. We run several main programs impacting local youth and manage deep partnerships with local nonprofits that help embody our vision and mission. The Timbers have created a culture of service throughout the city unparalleled in other markets. Our culture of volunteerism and giving has permeated the city and made the Timbers name synonymous with giving back to the community.
