More about G4S Secure Solutions
Development through sport is a new and exciting approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and there are some remarkable programmes, around the world, which are successfully promoting the relationship between brands, sport and social responsibility. G4S Africa has identified one such organization; G4S Africa has partnered with Bhubesi Pride (a United Through Sport project) to develop our local communities in Africa using sport as a medium, in this case Rugby.
In partnership with G4S Africa, Bhubesi Pride assembles teams of highly qualified coaches and teachers working in ten Africa countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa) during six month missions, delivering mass participation rugby, sports. G4S contribute by delivering Health and Safety
and career education programs in conjunction with the rugby training in schools and street communities. G4S Africa’s life skill training is tailored to address country specific issues such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Waterborne diseases, road and water safety etc. Health and safety particularly is our focus because the health and safety of our G4S employees and thus the communities they live in, is a critical component of G4S’ values.
