We're Taking Beyond Sport Online!

March 20, 2020

Beyond Sport was created with a vision of breaking down barriers and being a platform for collaboration and innovation to address social challenges – and that’s not going to change. The platform is just going to be fully virtual for a while as we continue to convene the world of sport to inspire and create stronger communities.

Hopefully, you’ve read about our targeted issue focused coalitions – the Sport and STEM Alliance and the Stay in the Game Network – and we’ve already been asked to pull together panels, keynotes and interviews for big events that have since gone virtual. We will keep you posted about these wonderful opportunities and hope you will join in.

In the meantime, our team is hard at work (from home) laying the foundation to deliver the quality event experience we hope you have come to expect from Beyond Sport and our partners. And with a network encompassing 3000 social change focused organizations in 160 countries, including some of the biggest names in the private and public sector, we are looking forward to be able to expand our reach even further.

Building on that, we are excited to announce something that we have been working on for a while:

Coming this June…Workshop Week!

Beyond Sport Workshop Week will provide interactive tailored content and resources that will leave you feeling more knowledgeable, connected and prepared to tackle the serious issues currently disrupting businesses, organizations and initiatives.

The digital learning experience will combine the traditional effectiveness of a networking conference with the convenience and flexibility of online connectivity. Workshop Week will have designed-thinking conversations, panels, chats and interactive discussions focused on overcoming societal, individual and organizational challenges.

With live streaming capabilities, thematic forums and virtual networking tools, the program will allow for inspirational stories and educational sessions around the sport industry and the development sector, and what this new world of tech and virtual convening means for social change.

Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks.

We remain hopeful for a recovery that will let us reconnect with you in person in the next few months. Live Beyond Sport House, Beyond Sport United, Beyond Sport Global Awards, Beyond Sport UK and Beyond Innovation are still in our plans, and we will keep you posted as the situation evolves. But no matter what, we will be here to support the community, whatever the form it takes.

More information to come, but in the meantime, see you online!

Make sure to follow us on social and if you were forwarded this email, please join our list to hear our news directly as soon as it releases.
