Beyond Sport Hiring - Program and Network Coordinator

Beyond Sport and our sister company, thinkBeyond are seeking qualified applicants for an exciting new coordinator position in either London or New York. The Program and Network Coordinator will help manage Beyond Sport's grant funding and capacity building programs, as well as help lead on a new global training and grant funding project delivered in partnership with one of the world's leading consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities 

1.    Program Management Support

Support the Senior Programs Manager through –

  • Overseeing and managing Beyond Sport Global Award Winners’ packages
  • Identifying and developing ways to promote, communicate and capture the impact of Beyond Sport Global Award Winners over the year
  • Helping manage funding partners over the year
  • Helping to identify new funding streams to the foundation – through grant opportunities, campaigns, and partnerships
  • Helping manage the grant application process from opening to close (i.e. update entry forms, prepare website, ensure diversity and growth of entrants, manage entrants’ inquiries, manage judging processes, manage winners) 

2.    Project Assistance

Support the Senior Programs Manager through –

  • Managing the database and CRM tool to communicate with and track progress of community sport organizations throughout 12-month project
  • Drafting copy for, and designing contents of, marketing and project update e-mails
  • Creating surveys to collect information; extracting insights from data collected, analyzing and presenting findings in reports
  • Collation of additional data and information as needed, to contribute to communication activities (for example photos, videos and impact stories)
  • Working with the Finance team to administer grant payments
  • Support with creation of project progress reports required by partner brand throughout the project 

3.    Additional roles

Key support to the Project Manager and Senior Leadership through –

  • Research to enable deliverables to clients
  • Liaise with designers and consultants around final deliverables to partners
  • Support in development and design of strategy presentations to partners (sourcing images, quotes, key outcomes, general research)
  • Logistical and operations support during key events (venue sourcing and recces within NYC area, delegate support, general support during event itself)

  • Ability to work independently and without micro-management - our team is small and an expectation to work independently and being able problem-solve on your own is essential.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the sport and development world and experience in speaking about it to a wider audience
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Experience using CRMs including MailChimp
  • Spanish, Portuguese language ability a plus
