Any project or initiative wishing to enter the Beyond Sport Awards must live up to the four basic principles of the Beyond Sport mission. (We suggest you keep the basic principles window open for reference while applying.)

If your project or initiative can deliver against these four core principles then it is ideally suited to entering the Beyond Sport Awards.

Below are the Beyond Sport Awards 2012 categories:

Community Awards

These categories are for not-for-profits, NGOs, IGOs, charitable or small social entrepreneurial organisations. Choose from the Award categories below based on the primary objective of your project:

Environment Award

This category is open to independent projects, federations, companies, government agencies, and rights holders alike. A relevant entry can be for any kind of activity that addresses environmental issues – i.e. events, campaigns, stand-alone projects, policies that resulted in an environmental improvement.

Corporate and Federation Awards

These categories are for corporations, businesses, sport governing bodies, official rights-holders, professional sports teams, federations, large social enterprises, or non-profits looking to nominate a corporate partner.

Judges' Awards

As well as the individual Award categories listed above, there will also be a number of Judges' Awards.

Details of the Judges' Award categories will be announced shortly.
