- Overview of Project:
The establishment of Active Community Clubs provides community focused programs for people within walking distance of their homes. The community takes an active role in controlling the club and this enables a truly empowering community structure. ACC's offer community sport and physical activity programs targeting a wide spectrum, ranging from toddlers to senior citizens and encompassing sport, recreation, culture and other community building activities. The clubs also provide health, early childhood education and other social initiatives.
