One love for children is a pilot project started in January 2013.This project aims to empower the street children on vocational training (sewing and carpentry) in LLCCM orphanage centre locates in Butare city of the southern Province of Rwanda. It has more than 25% of all street children found in Rwanda because it is second largest city in our country ,in addition, more than 3250 street children were struggling to the streets of Butare city in which they life is dangerous because they live without food, shelter and harmful life where they are using drogues,alcohol and tobacco smoking as sedating agents.
One love for children is using soccer/football to attract them to join LCCM orphanage centre which is a largest youth friendly centre in Huye city which is in charge of offering the vocational training mainly sewing and carpentry for disconnected and street children in the southern Province of Rwanda.
The football tournaments on the streets and at roadsides of Butare city ,have been attractive because we have been able to save the lives of 243 street children by 2 years and now they live independently due to received vocational training from the centre.
