More about Fulham Football Club
Over 1 million 16 – 24 year olds are currently unemployed and FFCF, through Barclays Spaces for Sports funding, has been tackling the national issue head on.
We work with unemployed (NEET) young people between 16 and 24 years old from targeted London boroughs, and from the county of Surrey. This group includes young people who have dropped out of school, or have had limited education or training opportunities; in short, those who are hit hardest by the rising trend in youth unemployment and growing inequalities.
A core 10 week programme focuses on employability combined with sports coaching and leadership, based at the iconic Craven Cottage stadium, where financial skills and sports ends with referral pathways into edu-cation, training, employment with our partners and supporters, and coaching at the Fulham FC Foundation.
