More about Coaching for a Safer Community Project
The sessions were devised to teach and educate participants to learn the dangers of Fire & Fire Spread, Hoax Calls & False Alarms, Calling the Emergency Services, Road Safety, Fire Escape Plans, Fire Triangle, Stop, Drop & Roll, Under the Influence of Drink & Drugs, Decision Making, Bullying, Working as a Team and more. Whilst the sessions are being delivered the participants are reading our life saving messages on our footballs, bibs.
It is important to C4SC project that the views of the children and young people involved in the project are taken into account, for this we utilise the log books which the children complete whilst on, during and after the course. Once completed the logs books are used to assist C4SC with future design, planning and running of the course. At the end of each session the Coaches hold a final Question and Answer session and also offer the participants and their families a free home fire safety visit.
