Beyond Sport Opens New York Office

Beyond Sport has opened a satellite office in New York ahead of the Beyond Sport Summit taking place in the US later this year from 27th-30th September.

Beyond Sport’s new US headquarters will provide a presence on the ground from which the initiative can build increasing awareness of its values and goals within the US sport-for-development market.

The satellite office will also act as a regionally-based operation for those interested in interacting with Beyond Sport or its Summit and Awards programmes.

Beyond Sport is a global initiative that promotes, develops and funds the use of sport to create positive social change across the world.

After the success of the inaugural Beyond Sport Summit in London last July, Chicago takes on the baton as the host city for 2010.

Once again representatives from all of the shortlisted Beyond Sport Awards 2010 projects across the world will be brought to the Summit to share their insights and best practices from the front line of the sport-for-development movement.
