Beyond Sport introduces Beyond Sport World
Beyond Sport is delighted to introduce the new networking website for sport and development, Beyond Sport World.
The Beyond Sport Summit 2009 has come to a close but the opportunity to connect, promote and share has only just begun.
The site aims to connect all those who believe that sport can be used as a tool to trigger social change across the entire spectrum of sectors. Whether you are a corporate company, a sport federation, an independent initiative, a government-affiliated agency, an aid network, an umbrella organisation, or anything in between, by simply becoming a member you can forge connections and promote your own latest developments.
This platform is designed to give this particular community a voice: Discuss new ways sport can be used in your communities; receive and share the latest news in the industry; and ask for and give advice on best practice.
For those who attended the Beyond Sport Summit, use Beyond Sport World to continue the discussions and connections made. For those unable to attend, this is an opportunity to make new contacts and promote your work.
Becoming a member is easy. Simply register at www.beyondsportworld.org, and then update your details at any time with either latest news or a viewpoint you wish to share. New features will be constantly added in the coming months.
While www.beyondsport.org is still committed to the operational aspects of the Beyond Sport Summit and Awards - the latter of which will open for entries for 2010 later this year - the Beyond Sport World site gives you a platform fully dedicated through which all groups involved in sport and development can collide.
Beyond Sport is a global initiative that seeks to celebrate and promote any organisation or individual with the goal to drive positive social change through sport.
