World Experts on Diversity & Inclusion Confirmed to Speak at Beyond Sport

Beyond Sport United guests will hear from a host of engaging speakers who will tackle key issues surrounding Diversity and Inclusion within sport; helping to create a level playing field for all to enjoy.

Stephanie McMahon, Chief Brand Officer; WWE, Caryl Stern, President and CEO, US Fund for UNICEF; Mauricio Sulaiman, President, World Boxing Council; Svante L. Myrick, Mayor of the City of Ithaca; Stephan Bognar, Former CEO, Maddox Jolie - Pitt Foundation are just some of the names that will take to the stage to discuss some of the most pressing issues causing community divisions across America including: gender equality, anti-bullying, LGBTQ rights, racism, accessibility and more.

At this current time of social unrest never has it been so important for the world of sport to unite to help break down barriers and eliminate prejudices. The morning’s agenda will be dedicated to identifying the problems that currently exist when we discuss diversity and inclusion, with the afternoon focusing on finding appropriate solutions. Guests will learn from organizations on the ground who are using sport as an effective platform to tackle these issues and who are achieving tangible impact as a result.  

As well as providing a day of unique insight, Beyond Sport United will also offer guests the opportunity to connect with over 700 high level representatives from the industry's biggest leagues, teams, clubs, governing bodies, rights holders, brands and NGOs including event partners Barclays, JetBlue, The Guardian, WWE, WBC, Equinox, Temple University, George Washington University and Hotel on Rivington who will be promoting their own efforts in a dedicated social exchange area.

In addition, representatives from all the Major Leagues will be in attendance to share their community work and how they have been using their influence to help drive change positive social change both locally and globally.
