The Jaguars will play the Dallas Cowboys at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, and preparations for that game will begin on Wednesday. But on Tuesday morning, as many of their teammates attended other events around London, Brown, Hurns and Robinson were at the Play 60 event along with teammates, Jaxson deVille and members of the Roar.
Upon landing in London on Tuesday, Cowboys players and cheerleaders headed straight to Wembley Stadium to join players from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club – known to us Americans as a soccer club – of the English Premier League to teach elementary-aged children from Wembley Primary School about both versions of football.
The event was intended to spread the NFL’s youth health and wellness PLAY 60 campaign abroad, but what resulted was a hilarious clash of culture and a poor display of soccer skills by Cowboys and a poor display of [american] football skills by ‘Spurs.
Players and members of the Roar ran drills stations around the field at Watford Grammar, with children gathering around Jaxson, posing for a team picture and experiencing a touch of American football. Also helping run the drills were members of the British American Football Association.
