Beyond Sport has always taken great pride in our collective community and its commitment to supporting and improving communities around the world. But we’ve always wondered what our network could achieve together if distance wasn’t an object.
So, though we may still be physically distant, the opportunity for closer collaboration is even greater right now in an increasingly digitally connected world. An opportunity we will be looking to leverage at Beyond Sport Workshop Week this summer.
From June 15 -18, we’re taking over the virtual event space like never before; to create a dynamic and interactive space for our community – existing and new – to come together to grow, learn and invent new ways to make a positive impact on an increasingly virtual society.
“Workshop Week is not another Zoom Webinar. We looked at what our sector needed and developed a dynamic and fully interactive experience aimed at education, ideation and finding solutions,” said Beyond Sport Managing Director,” Lex Chalat. “We know you’re facing challenges at a personal, organizational, sectoral and societal level. Workshop Week has been designed to address those issues by working with you through problems and sharing best practice and projections on how the new normal will affect us all.”
How are we going to do it? Across four days, four tracks and four session types supported by subject matter and performance experts who will challenge us to re-think old ways and inspire everyone to bring their best to each session. Content will be dispersed in compact sections throughout each day with a mind towards accomodating people’s complex schedules.
Using technology designed for interactivity and leveraging the expertise of our purpose-driven advisory arm, thinkBeyond, our attendees will: contribute during design thinking roundtable discussions on the key topics of today; participate in live Q&A’s; listen in on educational and informative panels with a diverse range of inspirational speakers; take part in sessions dedicated to stimulating ideas and solutions; and, build connections and resources during networking activities.
And our course there will be time to for wellness activities, happy hours and entertainment so that we can continue to strengthen our ties and have fun as a community!
