Harvard Group International Announce Partnership with Beyond Sport

World leading executive search specialists, Harvard Group International (HGI) have announced an exciting new partnership with Beyond Sport; a collaboration that will see them become an official partner to the ESPN Leadership Dinner and Beyond Sport United.

The ESPN Leadership Dinner in association with Harvard Group International, will take place at the top of One World Trade on August 8, assembling some of the most influential figures from the world of sport, business and politics to discuss the power of leadership and how, when executed effectively, it’s incredible ability to change lives and create far reaching impact. This exclusive networking dinner will prelude Beyond Sport United, a one-day event held on August 9, at Barclays Center to explore sports role is promoting positive social change.

With people being the driving force of the business, HGI promotes a strong philanthropic agenda. For every sports team or league they work with, the company allocates a portion of their fees to buy tickets and suites at local games to donate to local charities including: Make-A-Wish; Positive Coaching Alliance; Special Olympics; Ronald McDonald House;Boys and Girls Clubs of America; alongside various Children’s Hospitals and military organizations.  Over the past 2 years, HGI have donated close to $100,000 through this program.

HGI also provides Pro Bono Consulting with Non-profits. After a pilot program in 2012 with Special Olympics of Illinois, starting in 2013, Harvard Group International made an internal commitment to donate at least $1,000, 000 in pro bono consulting services to non-profits and has met and exceeded this target each year.

Backed by Founding Partners: MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL, NHL and WNBA, Beyond Sport United is a one-day event, that will bring together key players from across the world of sport, business and social change to focus on how sports can be used as a platform to promote diversity and inclusion. The days’ agenda will address key social issues that affect communities across America including racism, violence, homophobia, nutrition and gender equality; promoting best practice, new thinking and opportunities for collaboration to help tackle these issues. Guests will share insight through interactive panels, case studies and practical sessions.
