GOAL CLICK AND ADIDAS ANNOUNCE NEW PARTNERSHIP AND GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

Goal Click, the analogue global football photography project, and official UEFA Euro 2016 sponsor adidas have announced a new partnership and photography exhibition. The upcoming exhibition will take place at BL-NK in Shoreditch, east London, for one month (10 June - 10 July) during UEFA Euro 2016.

Goal Click finds one person from every country in the world and sends each of them one analogue camera. The photographers take photos that symbolise football in their country or their personal stories. Goal Click is currently active in over 60 countries.

Some description

adidas and Goal Click are collaborating to create a new London-focused project - Goal Click LDN. The project will feature London based photographers on a mission to capture portraits of their football lives in London through analogue photography.

During Euro 2016 Goal Click and adidas will partner to host their first exhibition, celebrating the Goal Click football community. It will bring together Goal Click photos from countries around the world including Sierra Leone, Iraq, Russia, Serbia, Mexico and Rwanda, alongside the Goal Click LDN project paying homage to football in London. The exhibition will also feature adidas current and historic products.

Some description

adidas’ involvement in the exhibition is a formal extension of the brand’s focus on supporting and celebrating young creators across London.

Through regular collaborations with photographers, artists and film makers, adidas strives to tell rich stories about football that inspire and connect with young creators across the UK.

Goal Click LDN showcases some of the most exciting young creative talents in the city, some of whom are already regular adidas collaborators, and captures how they see the beautiful game come to life in London.

The exhibition venue BL-NK is a temporary popup venue showcasing and supporting Hackney’s business and cultural community, created by The London Borough of Hackney in partnership with Cube Space Ltd. Set over three floors, BL-NK includes a café, first floor bar and roof terrace alongside exhibition space and digital art gallery.
