Beyond Sport Community Chats - A Place to Connect

In these uncertain times, a feeling of community can be a powerful stabilizer. You have been our - and each other’s - inspiration when we have needed it the most, so with people feeling alone and facing unprecedented challenges, we want to be proactive in continuing community, collaboration and support for our network.

Beyond Sport Community Chats

In conjunction with the upcoming launch of our 2020 Beyond Sport Global Awards, we will also be launching a monthly chat series. Our goal is to provide a space for our global network to share the challenges and the issues they are facing, as well as ideas that can stimulate new thinking and solutions.

And by network, we mean everyone! We will be inviting funders, brands, NGOs, thought leaders, leagues, educational organizations and more to share, listen and learn as we navigate this time together.

Each chat will be themed around a specific issue, feature one to two speakers and be followed by a Q&A session. Some sessions will directly address issues organizations are facing in the wake of COVID-19, such as fundraising, adapting programs to our current reality and continuity planning, while others will address the strategic and social issues sport can still play a role in solving.

We will be sending around a (short!) survey next week to ensure that we are focusing on the right areas, so please fill it out as soon as you can.

If these past weeks and months have shown us anything, it is that we truly are in this together. What we do affects our neighbors and what they do affects us. So please stay safe and take care of yourself and those close to you. And, we want to hear from you, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
