A recreational day for an underserved neighbourhood in Buenos Aires

Asociación Civil Valores y Deporte is organising -in alliance with the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina - recreational day to be conducted for IDSDP. This event will take place in a vulnerable neighborhood located in southern area of city.

Kids, youngsters and adults will be welcomed to enjoy an afternoon of sport and cooperative games at a recently renovated community football field. Values such as fair play, friendship, honesty, team spirit, responsibility and respect will be at the core of the 6 April activities.

6 April gives Asociación Civil Valores y Deporte an opportunity to celebrate its work and cherish the principles that reside at its own heart. Asociación Civil Valores y Deportet is a technical, non-political civil society organisation dedicated to promoting development initiatives through sports.

Although founded in 2013, it has been supported by the Claudio Marangoni Football and Sports School (in Spanish, Escuela Modelo de Fútbol y Deportes Claudio Marangoni), a well-known organisation in Argentina which has been at the forefront of development and sports since the 1980's. It has conducted a wide range of sports-related programmes aimed at social development and integration, promotion of health and education.
